My students need these Osmo kits to explore computer science and many other subjects through technology! It will also help enhance my students' problem solving skills!
I teach at a Title I school where the majority of our students receive reduced-priced breakfast and lunch. My students are eager to learn, and they like to work collaboratively with each other. I want to give this group of students the classroom they deserve. I want them to have the opportunity of choice!
My vision for my kiddos is that they will be engaged, their behavior issues will be minimal, learning will be happening, and academic scores will be improving!
My Project
These products will allow for coding and technological experiences. The Osmos will allow for purposeful play to practice spelling words, increase our vocabulary, increase our mathematics experiences, and heighten our visual-spatial reasoning.
Osmo game kits will enable my students to interact with Art, Math, and Coding in a brand new way!
The kit comes with multiple games that students interact with on an iPad. Osmo Tangrams includes over 500 puzzles to challenge their spatial reasoning. OSMO is a fun, interactive way for children to practice math and reading skills. It also introduces them to coding. OSMO is playing beyond the screen. It invites students to collaborate while manipulating at tables or on the floor with tangible game pieces such as number tiles, letter tiles, and coding blocks. Osmo Coding Jam teaches logic and problem solving skills by guiding students to code solutions using command tiles and music. Osmo Newton requires students to solve puzzles by drawing their solutions on a whiteboard and quickly adapting to different, open-ended scenarios. Osmo Masterpiece will enable my students to incorporate multimedia into their art. They will be able to project images onto their paper that can be traced and manipulated. They can take photos of their artwork and share it with others. Students will also be able to animate their drawing or combine drawings with digital images. By incorporating technology into their art, my students will be able to create masterpieces like never before!
