Help me give my students the ability to see the strides they are making in computer lab! I am requesting a color printer and the first set of cartridges for my lab.
I see approximately 660 students every week, grades pre-k to 2nd.
Students really enjoy coming to computer lab.
For some, school is the only place they get to play and learn on a laptop.
It is amazing how quickly all the ages catch on to using technology. My pre-k students love to play different learning games. Kindergarten learns how to sign themselves in to the Chromebook. My first and second graders are learning to type!
It is rewarding knowing that I have helped them learn something new, something they will carry forward with them the rest of their lives!
My Project
My students work very hard learning their keys and how to type. We have typing lessons and typing games they love. It's very exciting for them!!
The kids love to be able to see the progress they make!!
I am asking for a color printer and cartridges. I want to be able to print out the progress they make in typing. The certificates are in color and it looks so much better in color than in black and white.
With the printer I can print their certificates of progress in color. I can print their graphs in color. The students understand it more when you can see the colors for the different accomplishments they make.
It will also enable me to send the information home to the parents in a form that they can save.
