Help me give my students these coding games will improve their logic and problem-solving skills and will build stronger readers, writers, and mathematicians.
In our STEAM lab, students at our school have the opportunity to engage and collaborate with their classmates. Our wonderful STEAM lab is full of students from grades Kindergarten to Fifth Grade who participate in a weekly 45 minute resource period.
Our students want to explore, invent, create, and learn through innovation and imagination.
They are all excited to use hands-on manipulatives that will bring their learning to life.
Our STEAM lab reinforces state standards being taught in the classroom. In addition, we are integrating computer science and digital citizenship lessons.
My Project
These Osmo games will support student learning through innovative technology and hands-on experience. Osmo Coding will use the basics of logic and problem-solving to venture through five diverse worlds on a mission to save the mountain. In Pizza, students review their money skills to buy their favorite types of pizza. The Kindle cases will protect the tablets when students are using them outside the Osmo bases.
Since technology is an important 21st-century skill, it is imperative that we include this skill in as many ways as possible.
Osmo is a fun way to interact with technology that gets students excited about learning while using their Kindles in a new and creative manner.
