I teach in a public school in a very low-income area of St. Louis, MO. The class is always so excited to utilize the limited technology we have, but I feel that including learning games for their tablets will keep them even more engaged!
My Project
We were recently lucky enough to have three LeapPad tablets donated to our classroom to help enrich our learning by incorporating technology. Now, we just need Leap Pad learning games and apps to help my children develop their skills in reading, writing, math, language, and fine motor development. Having access to and utilizing this technology will also keep them up to date in a technology filled world.
I am very dedicated to my students, and feel that regardless of their socioeconomic status, they should have access to the very best education has to offer!
I would like my students to experience the same educational opportunities as others across the country, and feel that technology has become a crucial part of giving them the highest quality of education that they so deserve.
