Help me give my students on going reinforcement of our new literacy and math curriculum by filling center time with LeapFrog LeapStarts to enhance their learning adventure.
My experience over the years has been teaching great groups of wonderful kindergartners that are curious and constant! We have a wonderful time as we move through our instructional day, and I want to continue to bring my students every educational opportunity possible. A majority of my students arrive daily coming from low socio-economic households. My classroom is their safe haven for consistency, direction and respect.

My Project
Our district is currently implementing new curriculum in literacy and math for the upcoming school year. LeapFrog LeapStarts will provide additional reinforcement scaffolding their understanding through self-discovery and self-guided learning adventures. Center time will become a time for fostering independence while creating a time for self responsibility in meeting their educational needs.
The curiosity of a kindergartener is an ongoing energy to be nurtured and admired.
Building the confidence of each child will be the goal as the students work through the varied level of activities.
