Leapfrog Tag-Part 2!

My students need LeapFrog Tag books, rechargeable AAA batteries, animal cards, vowel cards, and consonant cards to learn English speaking and reading skills.

My Students

Have you ever tried to join in on a conversation, but couldn't because you could not understand the language? That is what my ESL students face every day in school. These students struggle making friends due to the language barrier. Let's make their lives easier by helping them learn English.

These students want to be successful in school, but find it very difficult due to the lack of resources available to them.

I currently have students from China, South Korea, Pakistan, Ethiopia, and Mexico. These students are trying their little hearts out every day to learn English, but it is frustrating for them because we don't have any extra resources to use with them. It is very difficult for them to communicate with the other students because they don't want to embarrass themselves by saying the wrong word. Our school consists of all English speaking students except the 15 students that I teach. It would mean a great deal to them if they were able to learn English quickly and correctly.

My Project

You will be providing my students with a wonderful gift. We already have a Leapfrog Tag reader, but we currently need books and learning cards to enhance materials. The Leapfrog Tag reader is something that can be used to develop the students reading skills, and to improve their pronunciation of words. If they are able to hear the word being pronounced correctly they will be more likely to learn it correctly. This will be such a great addition to the classroom. The LeapFrog Tag does many wonderful things. It reads the story with you, helps you pronounce words, quizzes you on the words, and helps you figure out how to pronounce the words. It would be a great learning tool to add to the classroom. I am asking for Leapfrog Tag books, consonant cards, vowel cards, and animal cards. I am also asking for rechargeable batteries to use with our Leapfrog Tag Pen. The Tag will teach the students the correct pronunciation of English words, thus helping them succeed in school and life.

Your donation will allow these students to learn the English language at their level.

You will be changing the lives of all of my ESL students. If they were able to learn the English language quicker they would be able to feel more comfortable academically and socially at school.
