My Students

Most children love to play video games. The new problem is getting them to stop thinking about the video games and to start reading a book. Wouldn't it be great if our students could use a video game to help them with beginning literacy skills?!?

My class is full of energy and excited to learn.

They love to learn in my center based classroom. We are part of a lower income school district, which means many of my students do not have the funds to have technology in the home. So, at school I like to provide them with different technology opportunities. Adding LeapPad to my classroom would help give them another great opportunity.

My Project

I am asking for two LeapFrog LeapPads for my classroom. I love to integrate technology within my classroom. The LeapPads would help me do that. With two pads within the class, multiple students can use it at a time. We have literacy centers every day. The LeapPads would be used during my centers to help teach literacy skills. There are so many educational games that I can load onto the pads. In literacy, we can read books, work on phonics skills and practice sight words. I could also use them during my math time or free time. I would be able to provide games for each child's learning ability. The possibilities are endless!

I would love to integrate LeapFrog LeapPads into the classroom.

By donating LeapPads to our class, you will enrich my Kindergarten students greatly. My students will absolutely love the new learning experience that you could help provide for them.
