My Students
We need tables to learn on!!! Please help us obtain a guided reading table and an active learning table to use while administering math and reading interventions.
My students are some of the most caring, actively involved young adults.
Our classroom consists of a mixture of grades 3-5. These students are a part of the learning support special education program that receive additional supports in the areas of reading, writing, and math. They are all learning capable students in spite of each of their disabilities which range from ADHD to autism. They realize the importance of reading and writing and deserve the best supplies and resources that we have to offer.
My Project
Our classroom is in desperate need of updating. We are in dire need of active and guided reading tables along with chairs and a reading recorder. My students would be utilizing the two tables during reading and math interventions. Instruction would be much smoother and more student orientated with the help and assistance of new classroom furniture . The tables would also help during independent work and small group testing. The reader recorder is for my students with processing and retention disorders. The chairs we are requesting are for our reading center and would help to make our room more welcoming. The students need a reading and learning space that supports their learning and supports their learning styles.
