Students in my classroom are very invested because I try and make the material engaging and relatable. Students love to use technology to further their learning, and using different mediums help keep them active.
Students learn about the environment, and how we should all do our part to conserve; so using fewer supplies, and being creative with what we have is always challenging for us.
Our class activities change daily, and using new technology keeps my students interested, on task, and ready to learn.
My Project
The LCD writing tablets with 10 inch screens will be a great resource to use daily in my classroom. As a literacy teacher, it is often necessary to evaluate comprehension and vocabulary understanding, and using the tablets will be an engaging and fun way to do that on an individual basis.
The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of and competency in authentic, meaningful writing.
The tablets can also be used when students are collaborating, when they need only to display one written response. Lastly, using less paper will help spread environmental awareness, and make students better global citizens.
