Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our team is special because these 18 girls are brand new to the sport and have met the challenge of learning the game with determination and commitment. They haven't missed a practice and never want to cancel practice. They even ask for practice to be extended beyond the normal end time. We weren't expecting this many girls to sign up to play so, we need equipment to ensure each girl has a mitt for their safety and softball regulations. The girls are all maintaining good grades, behavior and attendance.

Please help me give my students softball/catchers' mitts so we can have a successful and safe season for years to come!
