This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

We are a new school, adding a new grade level of students each year. Last year, our students accomplished amazing things. Students grew over two years in reading on average, and over 90% of our students earned a good or excellent on their Algebra I End of Course Exam. Though we are a new school, our students already participate in a wide variety of clubs and sports - from debate to yoga to basketball.

Our basketball players are extraordinary student-athletes, working every day in their classrooms and on the courts to be leaders.

They support one another as they strive for excellence. Last year they finished the year with winning records and will exceed those expectations this year.
