This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are exceptional! They are some of the kindest tiny humans I know. They are always eager to learn and help each other when they can. They are always so considerate of me as I am of them.

To see them learn, understand and apply their knowledge in everyday situations has brought me great joy!

I plan to continue to fuel their love and commitment of learning by giving them their best year as second graders. I simply love my kids!

My Project

When I think of reading a good book, I think of getting cozy in a soft seat ready to begin an adventure! And that is what I hope this project will bring to my students.

In hopes that my kiddos continue their love of reading, a cozy and comfortable corner full of bean bags and lounging chairs will be the perfect addition to our classroom.

Knowing that it is okay to kick off your shoes, grab a good book and sit in a comfy place will bring a feeling of a safe learning environment that the majority of my little ones need.
