LAX Equipment for Middle School Physical Education
Help me give my students new lacrosse equipment needed for our Physical Education classes. We have class sizes of up to 102 students, and we do not have enough functioning lacrosse sticks to play with all classes!
My students are involved in an International Baccalaureate Program, which places a strong emphasis on Physical Education. My students often share with me that Physical Education is one of the most positive points in their day; I love hearing from ALL of my students that they enjoy PE!
My students are always excited to come to Physical Education Class, and they are always eager to learn the new activity for the day.
Students leave my class prepared to embrace a lifelong dedication to physical fitness and a commitment to their overall health and wellbeing.
My Project
As a component of the International Baccalaureate curriculum, Physical Education teachers like to teach our students about various sports from around the world.
Lacrosse is a unique sport that involves a lot of movement, teamwork, agility, and fitness.
Lacrosse is also a sport that is not quite yet mainstream, and we want to introduce our students to Lacrosse. We combine our classes due to space limitations, and we have up to 102 students in the gym at a time. We currently do not have enough functioning lacrosse sets to teach this unit to our students, and we would love to have your help!
