We service 40 students from families in a rural community in South Eastern Kentucky. Our students are ages 3-5 and love learning. Our students always come in with a smile on their faces!
Our students love learning through play in our learning-rich environment.
We are using the ECERS evaluation tool to make sure that our center is the best that it can be for developing lifelong learners. Our kids love playing with blocks, animals, and exploring the world around them.
My Project
This is a play washer and dryer to go in our dramatic play center. Our students love playing in our kitchen and grocery store and this washer and dryer would fit perfectly in with our theme.
Students love imitating what they see at home.
This washer and dryer would let them pretend to wash and dry clothes, and give them a space to fold clothes. All of these skills are important when they get older. Exposing them to different life activities in preschool allows them to have familiarity with it and breaks down gender roles in the home. Thank you for considering our project.
