My Students

My students are 6 ,7, 8, and possibly nine by the end of the school year. They are a mixed group of students. They are average to low average academic level. They are very hard workers and want to succeed. They live in a small upstate New York Village outside of Schenectady, New York.

My Project

The school district is not allowing students to use their cubbies this year because of COVID. Children in second grade love to take care of their belongings and their things that are important to them. We will be at long tables with one child at each end of the table. We will also have about 5 desks for students. For these reasons, I want to get laundry baskets for each child. This way they will be able to socially distance themselves and keep their things straight and organized so that no one touches their things. This way we will lower the chance of anyone getting sick.
