My Students

I absolutely LOVE 10th graders! They are funny, thoughtful, and finally becoming more self-aware. This is a pivotal year in their educational career because they are leaving behind those lives of being 'little kids' and flourishing into young adults. My students constantly are questioning the world around them and forming the voice that will carry them well into life outside of high school.

My Project

We are here! We are in the classroom this year face-to-face and learning how to become a different type of learner in the face of COVID. I am in need of these computers so that I can keep the learning in my classroom equitable for both my face-to-face students and my virtual learners. My students are learning great things in English and how to become digital learners this year. I have many students coming to school without the means to fully participate in assignments because of their lack of devices.
