Mr. Cotton from Cleveland OH is requesting computers & tablets through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need iPads for their work in music on DJ equipment, to help students in reading supports, and to assist in learning new languages.

We are starting a brand new school in Cleveland that is centered around the International Baccalaureate curriculum. Our students come from all over Cleveland and represent a dynamic mix of ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. The students, however, have one characteristic that truly stands out: their love and eagerness for learning.
We want to create a dynamic music program that can reach out to our great mix of cultures so that everyone is involved.
In being a new school, it is up to me and my students to create that program and it starts with a solid foundation in the band, orchestra, percussion, and modern band classes.
With teaching and learning shifting to more technological methods, it is important for our students to have access to the software and applications that are available. This grant is a partnership between the music, special education, and world languages at our school to be able to allow our students more access to technology and learning aides. Our music class would use the iPads to access musical apps such as TonalEnergy, MusScore, and the apps used to run our DJ equipment. Our special needs students would use the iPads to assist reading skills through audible and other literacy apps. Our world language department would use the iPads to help students to connect to the languages they are learning both audibly and in reading skills apps.
