Launch Our LEGO League

Help me give my students LEGO robotics supplies so they can start building, coding, and learning!

My Students

Over the past few years, we have been increasing our daily use of technology to enhance learning and engage our students in meaningful 21st century activities. Our goal is to start a LEGO League team for 4th-6th graders! Our school, like many, has budget restrictions, and while we have received some great grants over the years, we aren't able to afford enough materials for a good student to robot ratio.

Having access to LEGO robotics and programming tools will inspire kids to solve engineering problems, explore coding, and participate in regional competitions.

We've never been able to provide an opportunity like this to our students, but this year we have some experienced and dedicated volunteers who have committed to launching a club!

We already have the excitement and interest in starting this club -- now we just need some more supplies.

My Project

We are hoping to launch our first ever LEGO League at our school this year. Every week after school, students in grades 4-6 will be able to work on engineering challenges, coding, and prototyping using these LEGO EV3 kits.

Providing our low income student population with these supplies will allow them to participate fully in meaningful technology education and rigorous regional competitions.

We're looking forward to a year full of learning, experimentation, and success.

By having more than just one kit, our club will be able to have a better student to robot ratio and we will be able to engage many more students in meaningful work.
