This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Please help our students hold their artwork in their hands!
Our school is the second-oldest all-girls public school in the nation.
We are proud of our scholars! They work tirelessly to achieve their goals and strive to exceed expectations every day. Our students are top quality, but our resources are outdated. Our budget is stretched to capacity, leaving few funds available for the purchase of new equipment.
My Project
With a color laser printer, the students will be able to print their artwork quickly and inexpensively. They will be able to take pride in their work because they will be able to display it. Students can make multiple copies of their work. They will be able to revise, revise, revise, pushing their work to the next level. Their final prints will be submitted for the A.P. Studio Art Exam.
This printer will make the A.P.
Exam affordable and attainable for our many students who have difficulties paying print/copy shops for quality prints. Access to a printer at school will dramatically increase their engagement with their art.
