My Students

We are a small rural school in Oregon. It is not unusual to see turkey and deer on the playground, along with goats, lizards, and sometimes the neighbor's horse. We have the occasional power outage or issues with the well but our students continue to work through it all without missing a beat.

This year's class is a fantastic group of third graders with a variety of backgrounds and personalities.

They are willing and able to make an impact on the world. They are working on being kind to themselves and others, always looking for ways to help.

My Project

This project will help us during both our P.E. classes and our Spread Your Wings activity that is school-wide. Students will have the opportunity to play games that involve the entire class.

Using hands, feet, and entire bodies to move this gigantic ball around is fun and exciting.

The ball is lightweight and user friendly. Kids can play crab soccer, Temple of Doom, Not in my Backyard, etc.

We have borrowed a similar item to use at our school and kids can't get enough of it. Only a handful of kids were able to check it out and the rest were quite envious. Another great thing about this ball is that it encourages a lot of teamwork to play. This usually results in tons of laughter which is always great to have!
