My students need desktop storage and LCD eWriter tablets to use with daily math skill practice to help reduce the amount of paper being used as well as the number of dry erase markers.
My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I ask them, "Who is the best third grade class in the whole world?" and they reply, "We are!" I want them to know I believe in them and they can do anything.
I teach at a low-income/high poverty school district where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.
My Project
LCD e-writers are light-weight and kid-friendly. You can write on the screen of the board with the included stylus and then erase it with a click of a button. So, you can use it over and over again. No more paper waste. There are so many practical and fun ways to use LCD e-writers for school. These clever little devices have added variety to our school day and can give the kids new ways to get their studies done.
When I teach math, we do lots of practice problems.
The student usually pulls out pencil and scratch paper or dry erase boards and markers. I really didn’t like the whiteboard mess and the constant replacement of dried up markers. Not to mention all of the used paper they can go through. The use of LCFD e-writers would change all of that. Less messy and more fun!
These boards will also be a great way to teach our students about going green and reducing the amount of paper and dry erase markers that we use in our classroom each day. LCD eWriters will provide students with a fun and engaging way to practice math, writing, and reading skills in my classroom.
I am also requesting two desktop organizers. The desktop organizers will help organize student materials by subject.
