My Students

Do you remember the excitement of reading and sharing books? My students need reading lamps and a learning rug to accomplish these rewarding tasks.

My second grade students live in a small rural community.

The community is so small that it doesn't even have a grocery store! Likewise, the school budget is limited, and therefore, we cannot purchase supplies beyond our very basic necessities. This is where we need your help.

My Project

A reading carpet and floor lamps will create a warm learning environment for the students. It will also be very spacious, so the students don't get in the way of each other. It will be a wonderful tool for learning different phonics sounds. Throughout the day, the mini-lessons will be taught on the comfy carpet.
