My students need a stylus to optimize their use of the new district HP touchscreen laptops. I picked a stylus that is known for more accuracy to help my students create their best work.

My classroom is full of eager 4th-grade learners. I have 79% of my class reading on grade-level, and 75% on grade level in math. My school is low-income and has a high transient population. Each year about 68% of our student population enrolls or transfers out of our school. The primary reason is the number of apartment complexes that are in our school zone. We have a variety of levels throughout the school.
My instruction involves a lot of hands-on activities and technology.
My school district is 1:1 for grades 3-12th, this means each student has an iPad or HP laptop assigned to them for the year like a textbook. Not all devices are allowed to go home. 3rd and 4th just received our HP laptops. Every student is excited about this new technology. We have had a great year!
My students use technology daily. Now, having touchscreen laptops, the students will be creating a lot more. Students explain their thinking in math, create projects in science and social studies, and respond to reading on their laptops. I have found that one thing that stands in their way is when they are writing or drawing their finger hinders them from doing their best work. I see the frustration on their faces.
Don't you want to help students feel successful and do their best work?
I really believe a stylus will help students feel more confident, and not have to erase and start over so many times. All my students love using technology to create. Having a stylus will enable all my students to use their technology to the best of their ability.
