My students are inquisitive and perform the absolute best when they are working in small groups. They absolutely love hands-on activities that allow them the opportunity to work with their peers. They come to school each day ready to learn regardless of what obstacles they may face outside of my classroom. The majority of my students arrive at school each day looking forward to being in an environment that encourages a positive mindset. Each school year I get a group of students that inspire me to do more to help them reach their potential!
My Project
My students need functioning Chromebooks! Since I teach math and science in small group settings, the Chromebooks are a perfect way to keep the rest of the students engaged and on task with their learning! The use of Chromebooks will allow me to use different programs to individualize the curriculum to meet specific students’ needs. There are a variety of programs that allow students the chance to collaborate to solve problems. When students continuously work hard and complete their work, these Chromebooks would be an amazing incentive to offer to the students as a reward. This way they can log into a math program they enjoy after doing something great!
