I am a Kindergarten Teacher in a Title I school. I have a class full of five year olds that are eager to learn how to read, write and do math. My students have to know how to problem solve in real world situations. Most importantly, my students need to be prepared for college and career ready standards. They need to know how to use computers proficiently. My students love to be exposed to lessons that are engaging and exciting!
My Project
We use computers everyday to engage my students in the classroom. We are required to use the computers for our reading and math curriculum up to 45 minutes for each child in each subject a week. The program has been proven to help children succeed in Reading and Math while being engaging and exciting! The children will also use the laptop to learn typing, mouse usage, and essential computer skills. The children will be so happy to have a working laptop to play educational games on also. Laptops for Littles will help my children succeed for now and the future!
