Help me give my students access to laptops so they can learn and build their skills independently!

I am proud to be the Diverse Learner Teacher of the most curious, creative, and courageous 7th and 8th graders you could ever meet in the city of Chicago! My students are not only committed to learning and growing academically, but they also want to develop themselves as leaders and change-makers in the 21st century.
In our classroom, my students uphold the following values: Pride, Respect, Integrity, Determination, and Excellence.
My students have also cultivated a classroom culture around having a GROWTH MINDSET and together we have learned how important it is to be fierce, fearless, and innovative when overcoming challenges and finding solutions to problems we face every day. My students are the inspiration for this project!
For a year and a half, students were learning online from the comforts of their own homes. When students returned to school for in-person learning in the fall, some of their laptops did not return with them. As a result, my school and district have been suffering from a laptop shortage!
Donations to this project will give my students access to online learning platforms like IXL, ST Math, and Lexia, and opportunities to present their learning outcomes in different ways.
With laptops in the classroom, my students will have the chance to engage in online learning activities that are interactive and aligned to their individual learning goals. My students will also have the option to type out written responses, record videos or podcasts, create digital art or presentations, and complete research projects! Without access to laptops, my students are robbed of the opportunity to learn and build the academic and technological skills needed to navigate the 21st century.
