This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Kids nowadays are becoming experts at using technology. However, in my classroom, with only one desktop computer, my students rarely get the opportunity to access technology.

My students are predominantly of Latino or Hispanic origin.

My school is located in a low income urban community. It is a public school servicing Pre-Kindergarten through fifth grade, as well as housing special education classes. My students are all first graders.

My Project

By having these five laptops in my classroom, my students will be able to use a computer daily to practice their reading as well as their math skills. They will also be able to do research on class topics. They will enhance their technology skills, too.

My students have a right to fair and equitable education, which includes access to technology.

With your donation I will be able to provide this for my students. They will benefit wholly from this project.
