My Students

Our school is a Title I school in NYC where students from a variety of ethnicities and cultures come to learn. At our school, the vast majority of the students qualify for free lunch. Who are my students? My students are English Language Learners who participate in a Spanish Dual Language program. Many of my students are bilingual and others are even trilingual. These children are highly motivated, creative, and eager to learn new skills in two languages.

My Project

All of my students LOVE to play the online math games that are part of our curriculum. The games help them sharpen their skills in an fun & engaging way. However, we only have scheduled computer time 1 period a week. I’d love to foster their love for math by giving them more access to computers. By supporting our project you’re helping us have access to the online component of our math curriculum daily. My students will be able to log into their math program and target their individual weakness- our goal is to meet each child on their level.
