I need a laptop in order to complete my Individualized Education Plans.

My students are special education students who are in the regular education classrooms. They are students who need services in reading, writing, and math, typically for 30 minutes each a day. I work with third and fourth graders at a public school. This school has an 80% free or reduced price lunch percentage. My students are all fully functional and able to participate in specials as well as extracurricular activities. A couple of my students only receive behavior services daily.
My students will benefit from me having a laptop because I will have the opportunity to plan great lesson plans for my students so that they are able to reach their IEP goals. My laptop was recently stolen from me so I am borrowing one from a co-worker. If I have my own laptop I can plan at home as well as school. I can also work on IEP's at home and not just during my prep. A laptop is essential to doing my job effectively. It will also allow me to incorporate technology into my lesson plans and allow for differentiation.
Having a laptop will also allow me to further my education in the current classes I am taking for my Reading Specialist License.
Me having my reading specialist license will allow me to gain the skills to teach my students reading strategies that I previously didn't have. This will allow me to grow as a teacher and gain more expertise to reach even more students and teachers.
