My Students

I have an amazing bunch of students. I see a very wide variety of kiddos from age 3-11. All of them have some sort of speech and/or language need; some are people who stutter, some have autism, some have articulation disorders, some have difficulty understanding and/or using language. They also have amazing strengths; they are resilient, they are kind, they are hard-working, and they are persistent. They make me laugh every single day! I am lucky enough to follow many of my students throughout their elementary school years.

My Project

As we've started the year with virtual instruction, the limitations of my district-issued laptop are becoming very clear. I am hoping to get a laptop that will allow me to run IEP meetings with parents smoothly while sharing my screen. I also like to be able to present activities and videos to my students as we work together in virtual sessions. Using this laptop will allow me to provide high-quality services to my families and students.
