My students need 3 chromebooks to help them engage in interactive lessons, access information from the web, and give them the opportunity to discover the world beyond their classroom.
Our class is full of energetic eager learners. They have varying talents and interests. We have soccer players, avid readers, dancers, science experts, lego builders and great artists. Each of my student have their own sense of style, unique personality, & amazing talent. Every single one brings something to the table. Being in an inclusion classroom, my children are at varying levels in academic and social skills. We come across many challenges, but keep our focus on one common goal and that is...to succeed!!!I would love to keep my 2nd graders excited by providing innovative material, projects, and activities outside the box of our current curriculum. STEM education is important and with proper tools of modern technology, it can enrich my students experience. These chromebooks will make learning fun and set our children up for success.Help us help them succeed!
My Project
We have 3 desktops and a handful of laptops for 35 students to share. Between tests taking & the pressure of being "tech savvy" in today's digital world, additional Chromebooks would really help our class gain momentum in this area. All students will be able to login & connect simultaneously during a Math or Reading group activity or take their weekly tests and district-state mandated assessments without having to wait for their turn, using up precious learning time. These Chromebooks will also serve as great resource for their research projects, writing/ reading activities, and STEM education. They will have the world at their fingertips!
