Students come to school daily with a variety of learning disabilities. My students are amazing! Some of my students are second language learners and also struggle with many challenges in learning e specially in Math. My students are a beautiful group of caring, sweet young people who have a passion to learn and be successful! As like many schools this school is a Title One school with more 77% of our population receiving free/and or reduce breakfast and lunch. Funding is always a problem. The students in my class come with a variety of challenges from being newcomers in the country, poverty, homelessness, emotional, social issues, and learning disabilities. They require devotion and support to bring out their inner desire to learn and appreciate the value of an education. Having materials that support my students visually would be amazing and open up the world to them. When a classroom is well organized and prepared the students see and feel the enthusiasm to learn! Many of my students do not have the support needed at home. So the time spent in the educational environment is crucial!
My Project
Technology opens the world to life long learning for all students. Students with special needs, second language and exceptional learners all require differentiated lessons in Math that hone in on their unique abilities. The lap top will assist in creating assignments, accessing videos, working on projects, accessing supplementary math materials, all of this will add value to their learning today and in life.

Their unique learning styles require a lot of planning and refinement. This tool enable the creation of such learning materials in an accessible way for all the students.
