My Students

We would like to have a reliable computer that has sound. We do have a few desktop computers in our classroom. They are old and therefore not very reliable.

We are second graders in rural East Tennessee.

We attend a small public school. Our entire school is like a large family. Almost everyone knows each other. Our school has a family atmosphere upon entering. We have one teacher. We are in the same classroom with our teacher five days a week.

My Project

We will use a laptop to view videos. We will also view and read leveled readers. We can also listen to books. We can also play educational games. We can connect the laptop to our Promethean board. It is similar to a Smart board, which enlarges the laptop screen and becomes interactive.

If we receive a laptop, it will change our learning this year.

We will have a reliable form of technology. We will be able to view videos that correlate to our curriculum. We will be able to listen to stories that go with our reading curriculum. Please help us receive a laptop!!!
