My Students

As an educator in the age of technology, functioning computers are essential to our daily classroom activities.

My classroom is an engaging environment, filled with diverse students from many different backgrounds.

The interests, abilities, and learning styles differ from student to student. However, the one unifying characteristic among them all is their enthusiasm for learning. Each student's diversity bring an unique perspective to our classroom that we embrace and celebrate.

My Project

My Project: Each year in class my students embark on a journey through the history of our city. We begin by discovering the Native Americans that once inhabited our local region. Using computers, students create reports and visual presentations on how the local tribes utilized resources native to here. Later in the school year students use technology to create an interactive timeline that cover early explorers to present day city events.

Having an additional laptop in my classroom will have a huge impact on my students!

It will aid in the exploration of the multicultural history that our city embraces by allowing more students each day the ability to research and discover the diversity all around us.
