My Students

My students are wonderful kindergarteners who are excited to go to school everyday. For some, school is the safest place they will be all day. Most of my students come from a less fortunate background and have little to no technology at home. Many students have never even used a computer before entering school.

My students just want to be like other students.

Due to their disabilities, they are unable to utilize many of the materials available in school. My students have concerns working a keyboard or mouse during computer time. They are in need of a touch screen computer that allows them to learn. My students are special education students at an elementary school in a high poverty area. They have many fine motor concerns that make it difficult for them to manipulate a keyboard or mouse in their computer class. They are in need of a touch screen computer that allows them to participate in learning activities like their classmates. Having this touch screen computer will enhance their learning and make them feel more confident about their technology skills and themselves.

My Project

My students need a touch screen computer, so they can learn the same as other students in their computer class. They do not have the fine motor skills needed to manipulate a keyboard or mouse. It will allow them to enhance their learning using technology the same as their classmates. It will give them the opportunity to be a part of 21st Century learning. Your donation to this project will make a significant differences in my student's lives. It will give them opportunities needed to enhance their academic and technological skills. Your generosity is very much appreciated.

My students need a computer that works for them.

Several of my students have major fine motor concerns that make it difficult for them to manipulate a keyboard or mouse. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
