I work in a school in Antioch, California. My students come from backgrounds where they have limited resources and attending school is not a priority for them. I know that they have a lot of potential, and I want to encourage them to be their best self. Many of them just need someone to have their back and support them.
Many of my students do not have good experiences with reading and English classes.
I want to change that. I want to provide novels that relate to their own lives and encourage them to read various types of novels.
My school has provided teachers with 36 laptops for their classrooms. However, I do not have a place to properly store and charge the laptops. I am currently using crates but it is not working. There are too many computers and not enough space on the table to properly organize them.
I like for my students to learn in a calm, organized environment, and this project would help me maintain that in our classroom.
This project will decrease the clutter of the chargers and allow a safe and more organized way to keep the computers.
