My Students

My students are resilient, happy children. Though they may not have many materialistic items, most are typical, happy five-year-old students.

My students truly amaze me every day.

Though they may come from a challenging socioeconomic status, they choose to be happy because that is all they know how to do.

I feel so fortunate to be able to serve these students each day. I truly feel that every minute in the classroom is not only beneficial but essential at this age of early learning, especially to the babies who do not have the prior knowledge students in other schools may have.

My Project

These lap trays will be used for flexible learning in our classroom. They are comfortable and appropriate for learning and growing bodies. In addition, to giving students a choice in location for learning, they will also allow students to practice independent responsibility. Students will be able to put away and stack their own trays quickly and conveniently, until they are ready for use again.

The lap trays will offer students the opportunity to work wherever they feel most inspired.

Students who are given control over their learning spaces are more likely to enjoy learning. My students will be eager to complete projects and expand their experiences.
