I co-teach 6th graders in a low-income school district. I work with between seventeen and thirty students in itinerant support, small group testing, cotaught classroom, and a PSSA prep class in the auditorium.
The students I work with, work hard and want to do well.
The students love to work in groups around the room. They help one another and like working on projects. Having fun, working hard, and learning together is the key to their success.
The students are wonderful and make going to school and teaching them worthwhile.
This cart will allow my students to have easy access to the new lap desks that were graciously funded by supporters of DonorsChoose.org. I move between classes. One of the classes is in the auditorium, which is quite far from my home base.
This cart will allow me to make the most of the time available during the class periods.
I give small group tests in various locations around the school. Finally, I share my room with another colleague and it will be very helpful if my students are not interrupting her classes and vice versa. The cart will allow for easy organization and storage at the end of the school day.
