My Students

My students are Brooklyn learners who are discovering their skills as English Language Learners. They have an amazing desire to work and learn. However, the biggest challenge is to effectively give them enough valuable resources.

My students are creative thinkers and make do with our limited budgets.

The state has cut our budgets but we need some storage boxes, folders, notebooks and pens. These provisions are the most basic resources that English language learners can have. They are resources that assist the learning process in the most basic way.

My Project

These materials will assist students who cannot afford supplies. They will use them in their interactive ENL lessons. Students will now have a place to store their supplies, a folder to be organized with and pens and notebooks to write their lessons in. By giving out these school supplies we hope to motivate the students and show them that an education is their most valuable resource. Writing materials are the most basic provisions that students can have and many are unable to afford the necessary supplies. With your help we can encourage our students to realize their education and not worry about how they will manage.
