My Students

Have you ever traveled to a foreign land where no one speaks your language? Have you ever been surrounded by people who were speaking but yet you don't know what is being said? Some of my students feel that way every day.

My first graders are happy, vivacious students who are eager to learn.

They attend a large public school in the state of Texas. Many of the students are not native English speakers. However, they are motivated and ready to acquire and improve upon their language skills with the goal of being the best they can be.

My Project

I am requesting language photo cards. These cards will assist my ESL students with learning about objects around them and their names. I am requesting a set of audio books read-along. My students need to hear and enjoy stories in English. I am requesting a set of basic skills cards to assist some students in learning their ABC's, colors and numbers.

The early years of education are some of the most crucial.

It sets the foundation for the years to come. I want to provide and immerse my students in as much English language learning as possible to start them off down the right path with success.
