My Students

My school is a multi-cultural, urban high school located just west of Milwaukee. The mission of my school is to develop inquiry-driven, independent learners through instruction that is personalized and engaging with a focus on college/career readiness and 21st century skill development.

More than two-thirds of my students come from economically disadvantaged families, and many lack the basic supplies required of high school learners.

Many of them work to help their families or cannot work because they are helping to raise siblings.

I have terrific students who want to learn and want to keep up with their suburban counterparts. The only barriers are the resources they lack.

I love my students' motivation to do well and their perseverance when things get difficult.

My Project

Learning French is ideally an enriching life experience that plants seeds during these early years to help blossom strong globally aware and focused young people. Online tools for the teacher are a must and Language Angels provides an online program for beginner French students to clearly and steadily build their stepping stones to a firm foundation in French.

The online Language Angels program provides a creative and innovative online program for beginner French students to get their basics down to then move solidly forward to French fluency!

Language Angels provides full curriculum guidance, auto tracking of progression, songs, interactive lesson materials, differentiated worksheets, and more!
