What can I say? My students are awesome! They are young people learning about the world around them and figuring out how they are going to fit in and contribute to our community. They come to the library to research assignments, find interesting reading materials, visit with each other and collaborate on projects.
Students use the library as a place to grow as individuals and research topics that will assist them in being successful in school and in their personal pursuits.
My students are strong and resilient and use the library to work on school assignments with and for their content teachers to expand their learning experiences in all subject areas. They are incredible young people working towards a better future.
My Project
Our faithful laminator has given up the ghost. We have tried to repair it but there are no longer any parts for it! Your donation to this project will provide a laminator and laminating pockets so students and teachers can preserve the materials they create. This laminator will be located in our library and be a well used resource.
This laminator will protect the interesting artwork and thought provoking essays our hardworking students want to keep in their portfolios.
Teachers will also be able to use the laminator to create awards, highlight their students' best work and create interesting classroom materials.
