My Students
My students are the greatest kids. They work hard and explore new potential within themselves throughout the school year. I have high standards and hold each one of them accountable for maximized learning. My class is also fun, and there are many rewards associated with the kids' hard work.
This project is one that will benefit our entire school.
My Project
Teachers are always needing to laminate manipulatives, wall hangings, handouts, and center activities. Currently, Midway does not have a laminating machine. If teachers want something laminated, we have to go to a local teacher's supply store.
This laminator will benefit all teachers and students at the MIS district.
Having a laminator for our school will save money and time. Teachers will have the convenience of being able to laminate items. A laminating machine will add one more resource to aid teachers at Midway to successfully teach our students in all subjects.
Students will be able to use laminated materials to practice and reuse by using erasable markers. This provides a differentiated approach for students who normally use paper and pencil. Math teachers could laminate grid sheets that allow students to practice plotting coordinate points. For students and learning, the possibilities are endless.
