My students are truly exceptional! They work hard to succeed. They persevere when faced with a challenge, creatively inspire our community, and believe in one another. They are tomorrow's leaders and world-changers. They are our future and together we can help them reach their dreams. A full 100% of our students receive free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch. They come to a low-income, Title I school every day, where resources are very limited. Some of our students are unable to purchase supplies, and the school is only able to do so much with the budget they have. Our students strive to do their best!
My students are energetic, smart, and motivated to succeed.
Even though they come from a variety of backgrounds, including race, religion, academic levels, and family structure, we all work together to create a unique learning experience, instilling a love of learning and exploring that will last a lifetime.
As a counselor, most of the materials I use are not consumable - they are to be used over and over again. I am asking for a laminator to help make my materials for students, parents, and the school more permanent and inviting. Going into classroom for lessons with laminated papers that can be written on is not only fun and inviting for the students, it saves money and time because the papers can be used again. Visitors coming into the school will be impressed with the professional looking posters on the walls. Whether it is seeing students individually or in groups, parent meetings, or posters on the walls, a laminator will make the work more permanent for students and families. A small, under-the-desk table will help to house the laminator.
