I have been teaching in the South Bronx for seven years. Every year I go out and purchase new supplies, charts and bulletin board charts to replace the ones that have been written on or aged due to being out all year. If these valuable resources were laminated, many other teachers and I could save a lot of time and money by reusing the same posters, tags and charts year after year. I have plenty of dry erase markers that could be used to write on the lamination. Students could use the charts and posters during center time and could feel free to write on them with the dry erase marker, instead of copying them into their notebooks. My school does not have a laminating machine available to teachers and I feel it is a necessity for a teacher who plans on teaching for many years. Please help us out!
