“LAMINATING ” to Preserve and Protect Student Work
My students need an awesome laminating machine to preserve and protect our class work and to reuse teacher made materials along with many laminating pouches.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Recieve a free and appropriate public education in a self-contained special education classroom. All of my students have specific learning and academic goals that are tailored to meet their unique learning needs. Our classroom has a dual task of exposing my students to the general education curriculum and providing practice and mastery of their Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals.
My highly structured and individualized classroom is the perfect place for my students to learn, grow and achieve-academically.
My students are at least two years behind grade level so it is important for us to have the resources and tools ready to go, so we can meet their individual learning needs.
My Project
My students are very proud of the work they do in our classroom. Sometimes we post the work outside of the classroom on a bulletin board. Sometimes put the work on display in our classroom. Sometimes, we send the work home to share with their families. Regardless of where the work is stored, in the classroom, hallway, or at home I want the work to remain in great condition.
We will use this awesome laminating machine to preserve, protect and cover student work before we put it on display.
This will make sure that the hard work of my students will not be ripped down or destroyed. This will also help my students and their parents hold on the treasured work of their students. When the papers and projects are laminated, they are less likely to fade and suffer other damage.
