My students are enthusiastic learners who are eager to dive into technology to boost their learning. I want to help prepare them for the 21st century and ensure that they are college and career ready. Technology is the key!
My students are amazing kids who inspire me every day!
They work hard and are committed to doing their best to learn every day. The new Common Core standards require students to have a deeper depth of knowledge and technology can help them achieve that. I want to provide them the resources and experiences they need to be successful in school and beyond. Many of my students do not have access to technology. Over 50% receive some sort of public assistance. I do not want the lack of resources to hold my students back. It's amazing what kids can achieve when they have the resources to be successful!
My Project
Our school laminator broke last year, and we have been without a laminator since then. Since teachers and staff have been unable to use a laminator, we have had to recreate many of our teaching resources and anchor charts. Also, student work was unable to be preserved.
A new laminator will benefit all students, teachers, and staff in our school.
We would be able to preserve and showcase our students' learning. Teachers would be able to protect anchor charts and teaching resources that we have made. That would save us a lot of time and supplies. School Staff would be able to laminate school projects and signs.
