My Students

A very generous donor gifted a new EZLoad Thermal Laminator to our classroom last year. I plan to use this laminator to make new reading and math games for our classroom. We need some laminating film so we can continue using it!

This year, I teach a very loving, active, energetic group of twenty-two 2nd graders.

They love to learn new skills and expand their knowledge. They are very active and love to be on the move! Our school is in a small, rural town in Tennessee. My school currently enrolls just under 1,000 students from Pre-K to 4th grade. The majority of our students receive free/reduced price lunch.

My Project

Having a laminating machine in our classroom is WONDERFUL!!!! It is larger than our old one and can laminate pages up to 12' wide. It came with a small roll of lamination film, but we are in need of some more! I love being able to laminate my students beautiful art and classwork. PLUS, the students want some more hands-on math and reading comprehension games. I will be able to make more hands-on learning activities with more laminating film.

By having more laminating film in our classroom, we will be able to fully use our laminating machine to make hands-on math and reading games.

I will also be able to preserve my students work!
