The students in my class are bursting with laughter, love, and the eagerness to learn new skills. My students communicate, learn, and love in very unique ways. Many of my students are considered nonverbal while a few are very verbal. My classroom is a exceptional children self contained Autism classroom.
Communication is a HUGE factor in our classroom.
We strive to allow the students to show us what they know. When speaking, writing, and eye contact are limited, it is difficult to get the information needed to exceed.
My Project
My students learn in different styles. The laminating pouches make their work durable and long lasting to maintain and practice mastered skills. Velcro dots helps my students focus on the skill need versus the handwriting aspect of traditional school work.

Velcro dots allow for ease of use and fast errorless learning. Folders for organizing assignments are an EC teacher's life! Felt pens assist the teacher in labeling the folders and taking easy to read data.
