Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from humble backgrounds. They rarely leave their neighborhood. They want to know about their world. Their faces are beautiful with their big brown eyes and wide smiles. My students love to learn about their world. They are eager to see what is out there!

My students are first graders who have developmental delays, autism, and special needs.

They are lagging behind their typical peers by one to two years academically and socially. Many are English language learners and experience processing delays in speech and hearing.

My Project

My students will benefit from having a classrooom laminator because it will be so easy to laminate learning pieces we use over and over again. We can create and laminate sight word cards, sentence frames, number cards and even our art work! We don't have to rely on the school laminator which is often not working or out of lamination paper. When we laminate our work, we save paper and make a lesson reusable for years to come. Work can go home and come back without being crumpled and covered in pizza handprints! Please help us achieve our goal! Thank you!
